Late Friday afternoon (5/23), the five members of Kansas City's Board of Police Commissioners upheld the firings of two quality, flawless police officers. The board was hopeful this story would go away by announcing their findings on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend, but they obviously don't know our show.

Mayor Funkhouser will join us Friday for our weekly chat at 7:40 to explain his position, but what of the other four members? Will they come on the public airwaves and explain their firing of two exemplary officers?
