OK, we've tried to move on. We've made an effort to avoid giving this racist any more publicity than some of our colleagues already do. You may remember recently this blogger was linked - and still is - to the Kansas City Star and featured every Friday morning at 8:30 on that "news" radio show down the dial. Not just as a commentator - but as a legit, credible news source. One they actively promote.

We learned after our live Behind the Mic show honoring Frances Semler that this guy charged KCMO Talk Radio 710 with violating the "equal time" provision within FCC guidelines. We know this because his post was linked to the Kansas City Star website. Read the recap of the entire episode courtesy of our buddies at Bottom Line Communications.

We can't help but wonder what our friends at the "news" radio station are thinking. Have they even read what this guy writes and links to? Do they know their audience anymore? We'd ask you to read some of the nonsense we've linked to. We know we share listeners. So, we feel it is our responsibility to let you know what our "news" colleagues think passes for news these days.

He calls Jason Whitlock a "Coon."

This blogger is being promoted and propped up by the leading names in Kansas City "news." What a sad turn of events for these once great news sources.
