Global Warming..."a crock of s@#%" says GM Exec.

We love to read about leadership - especially when one's industry is under attack. Such is the story of General Motors' Vice Chairman...

On that note, new "chilling" evidence...

There seems to be two trends emerging in news coverage of faith in America. The first is to attack the church, its beliefs and its leaders. The latest is to convince you faith is becoming irrelevant or toothless in Americans lives. The Falling Star and the LA Times both take a swing.

Meet the latest member of the Kansas City media tonight at 7PM with our own Jack Harry on 38 the Sports Spot. Jack always gets the tough assignments.

Need entertainment for your political fundraiser?

Call the Kansas City Star for all your fundrasing needs! Who knew the had an ethics code?

What do you do when you're a tree hugger, but the trees block the sun your neighbors need to power their home? It's an environmentalist legal battle! Can you say: cutting off their noses to spite their faces? Maybe they can't see the forrest for the trees?

Another HUGE blow to Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan. After being shot down for trying to mislead voters on affirmative action , another judge shot her down for the same deceptive practices. This time on human cloning. It's good to see judges still believe in fair ballot language despite Carnahan's multiple attempts to manipulate it.

Nothing says midwest values like a Los Angeles fundrasier with Nancy Pelosi!

Our friends at the Pitch turn the tables on the media maffia. Well done, guys! Read the story of the investigators being investigated and watch the event on You Tube!

Smoking bans and dead Chinamen...

Credit is given where credit is due...Rick Alm of the Kansas City Star features a devastating look at the smoking ban on the casino industry in Illinois. January 1st of this year marked the beginning of the state's total ban on smoking. In just under two months, Illinois casinos have lost revenue - TO MISSOURI CASINOS!

The reason? Smokers are heading across the border to smoke and gamble legally in Missouri. Some casinos are already laying off employees in Illinois to compensate for the loss.

The question for Kansas City voters on April 8th: Will you support the ballot initiative that will shut down and destroy small business? There's now more proof that a yes vote would do just that. Not to mention creating massive layoffs and unemployment in an already dicey local economy.

Dead Chinese on display in Kansas City - get your tickets now! Hey, where'd all these dead folks come from anyway?

The Falling Star...falling fast.

The Kansas City Star is in bad shape. Losing readers, senior staff in budget cuts, and now publicly mocked on the popular HBO series "The Wire." This season, the show's fifth and final season, examines the sad state of newspaper journalism today. The latest episode features a newspaper reporter trying to get ahead in the industry by making up stories and quotes - all in an attempt to garner fame and professional success.

Here's the punch line: The aforementioned reporter is wearing a Kansas City Star t-shirt. Ouch!
The National Post explains the disdain for the press held by the show's creator.

Gosh, we can't figure out why the show goes after our home town paper. Could it be stories like this? Read the speculation, gossip, and race baiting presented by DeeAnn Smith as legitimate news. It belongs on the gossip pages. Is this DeeAnn Smith or gossip legend Liz Smith?

We had a lot of interest in this wonderful take on the nanny state by Walter Williams. Please keep this in mind if you live in Kansas City. Vote "NO" April 8th to bullying small business owners!
